Statement

My work reflects upon the relationship mankind has with her surroundings and with nature.

I seek well-being through the arts exploring the connection one has with the landscape, from the vastness of mountains and wide open skies to the beauty of a simple flower; how getting submerged within forests nourishes the senses, the soul and imagination. Expanding this concept with a holistic approach allows the making of art to heal, building a shelter from the rush we live with nowadays.

My landscape series are filled with the vibrant colours of the Mediterranean, suffused in light, suggesting organic forms offering spaces that invite the viewer to breathe and to contemplate, discovering a new vision in the painting in their own time. The results are images that emerge from a mixture of memories, desires and dreams I have about nature and special places.
